Week 2 - Day 4 : Read Exodus 13 & 14

Read Exodus 13:21-22, 14:10-14, 14:19-31. How was God with Moses? What does that teach you about God? How can you know God better as a result of this passage?

In Joshua 1:17 the people vow to obey Joshua as they obeyed Moses. Did the people truly obey Moses? (See Exodus 6:9, and 16:19-20)

Pray: God, we praise you because you always provide. One of the greatest ways you provide is with your presence. Just as you were with Moses, I know you are with me. You’ve said your Holy Spirit dwells in all who believe. Help me to remember that you are always with me. Help me to be aware of your presence every moment of every day.

Forgive me for the times I forget about you. I get wrapped up in myself, my wants, my plans, my struggles. Lord, you are greater than all that. I’m sorry for the times I forget about you. Help this year to be a year where I walk in your presence, listening to your voice, obeying you, and following where you lead.
